Solar Winds Likely To Reach Earth
Sun winds will reach earth after a solar flare that has erupted from sun. Scientist have reported these Solar winds are released from coronal holes on sun is a massive amount of energy that is heading towards earth having speed of 800 kilometers per second. These Solar winds produce radiations from radio waves to x-rays and gamma-rays. Solar winds also known as solar tsunami is likely to reach earth on October 3rd, 2011.
On reaching earth they will cause disturbance with earth’s magnetic field. It can cause disruption in satellites, power grids and nuclear power plants.
Auroras can be spotted that are visible mostly nearer to poles. Auroras get brighter with intensity of solar cycle.
